If you enjoy reading and have a huge book issue, you know - so many books and so little time. I have put together some recommendations for you.

Books are Sacred Things. NYC is a Sacred Place.

In both a Religious and Irreligious sense. Money may be in short supply. If you can count it, it is not enough. Books are limitless.

Books by and about NYC are abundant.

If you do not possess a Library Card. Run do not walk to get one.

There are 3 separate libraries in NYC.

In a world gone insane, Libraries represent the Best of what is left of Civil Society… (Same as it ever was)

You can score books, DVD’s music and more. All you need is that Magical Library Card.

If you live in NYC and don’t have one, Run to your nearest library. This is one of the best investments you can make in yourself. It’s so easy even a dog or an intelligent child can do this.

There are 3 library systems in NYC:

The New York Public Library is a must if you live and work in Manhattan or The Bronx.

The Brooklyn Public Library rocks Brooklynites world.

The Queens Library allows you to score books in more foreign languages then any other place in the world.

Got your library card? Bingo, you have hit the Jackpot.

What NYC Authors Should You Read

Good question man.

The following is a very brief and personal list. All of these authors have been mentors and inspirations to me. If we were to meet inside a taxicab hilarity and camaraderie would take place.

Reading is fundamental. Reading books by and about NYC is one of the secrets to wrapping your mind around this place.

The Ramones were some locals from the neighborhood in Forest Hills, Queens.
